For more than 20 years of development, the Ukrainian grain market has undergone significant transformations. Today Ukraine feeds more than 100 countries over the world.

Therefore, the current trends of Ukrainian grain market have an influence on the future of both our country and many others.

This once again underlines the importance of maintaining a constant dialogue between the participants of the Ukrainian market and representatives of world organizations.

Global trends and Ukrainian realities” is the title of one grain section to be held within the first day of ХХ international conference Grain&Maritime Days in Odessa.

The most respected speakers of the agribusiness - Dimitar Bogov (EBRD), Vladimir Klimenko, Rodion Rybchinskiy, Mykola Gorbachev (UGA) - will speak about the food security in the context of the global economic crisis, the state of the Ukrainian economy and the investment climate as well as about the global climatic changes and the challenges that the participants of the agro-industrial complex of Ukraine face in the new realities.

Grain market of Ukraine will be covered by Andriy Kupchenko (APK-Inform), Bogdan Kostetskiy (Barva Invest), Dmitry Prikhodko (FAO), Rodion Rybchinskiy (Millers of Ukraine), Artem Skorobogatov (Interlegal).

They will talk about the results of the “amazing” grain season 2020/21 in the Black Sea region and share their forecasts and expectations for 2021/22 MY - whether the tough grain balance will ease.

We will also speak about the grain market of the MENA region and will pay attention to China as one of the main market drivers.

In addition, the role of a farmer, processor and trader in the field-to-food chain and the importance of avoiding defaults will be discussed.
