The Ministry of Agriculture of Kazakhstan plans to impose temporary quotas on export of sunflower seed and oil. The draft of the order of the Minister of Agriculture was published at the governmental website on April 30.
“Under article 2, paragraph 18 of the Law of the Republic of Kazakhstan “On regulation of trade” I order to approve a list of goods subject to export quotas”, - the document says.
The list includes sunflower seed and sunflower oil.
The order set the rules determining the allocation of quotas between the exporters of these goods.
“The order comes into force since the date of official registration and remains in force until September 31, 2021”, - the draft says.
