The weather conditions delay the development of agricultural crops in Belarus, informs Belhydromet. The development of crops progresses slower that the last year.
“Abundant rains in May resulted in the excess soil moisture across most of Vitebsk oblast, partially in western part and in eastern region of the country. The soil moisture is adequate across the rest of the country”, - the experts said.
At the same time, the weather conditions are favorable for the completion of the planting campaign of corn, buckwheat, millet and other late crops.
“The weather will be quite stable in Belarus in the short-term”, - they added.
