Export duties on Russian wheat and corn growing again

The Agricultural Ministry of Russia updated rates of export duties for wheat, barley and corn under the mechanism of “grain damper” that came into force on June 2.

From June 30, with the indicative prices of wheat and meslin at 259.1 USD/t the export duty will be 41.3 USD/t. They were at 254.5 USD/t and 38.1 USD/t as of June 18.

With the indicative prices of barley at 241.7 USD/t (the same as the last week) the export duty will remain at 39.6 USD/t. With the indicative prices of corn at 257.2 USD/t (256.8 USD/t) the export duty will be 50.5 USD/t (50.2 USD/t).
