All oblasts of Belarus have already started harvesting grains. As of July 15, Belarusian agrarians harvested grains and pulses throughout 37.8 thsd ha, or 1.76% of the plan (2.145 mln ha). The production volumes reached 155.7 thsd tonnes with the average yield of 41.2 t/ha, declared the Ministry of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Belarus.
Winter barley formed the main share in the total volume of harvested grains. In particular, agrarians harvested 114.3 thsd tonnes of winter barley with the yield of 4.89 t/ha throughout 23.3 thsd ha, or 82.2% of the plan.
Moreover, farmers started harvested 49.5 thsd tonnes of winter rapeseed with the yield of 1.55 t/ha. They harvested the oilseed throughout 32 thsd ha or 9.36% of the plan.
