As of August 31, Belarusian agrarians harvested grains and pulses (excluding corn) throughout 2.056 mln ha or 97% of the plan (2.12 mln ha), declared the Ministry of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Belarus.
The production volumes reached 6.324 mln tonnes with the average yield of 3.08 t/ha.
Particularly, farmers continue harvesting late crops. They harvested 0.5 thsd tonnes of buckwheat with the yield of 1.08 t/ha throughout 0.46 thsd ha (1.5% of the plan), and 4.45 thsd tonnes of millet with the yield of 2.29 t/ha throughout 1.94 thsd ha (34%).
Moreover, agrarians harvested 45.2 thsd tonnes of spring rapeseed with the yield of 1.35 t/ha throughout 33.6 thsd ha (80.2% of the plan).
