The downward trend of flour production remains in Ukraine at the beginning of 2021/22 MY. According to the State Statistics Committee, Ukraine produced 91.1 thsd tonnes of wheat flour in July, down 22% compared to July 2020 (117.1 thsd tonnes).
Lower production of flour resulted in the decline of its export. In July-August of 2021/22 MY, Ukraine exported only 23.9 thsd tonnes of wheat flour, down 32% compared to the same period of the last season (35.2 thsd tonnes).
Detailed forecasts for the new season on Ukrainian flour market will be presented within Grain Processors Forum-2021 in Odessa on September 23-25.
