Kazakhstan resumes grain, flour supplies to Afghanistan




Kazakhstan resumed supplies of grain and flour to Afghanistan, declared director of department of plant product production and processing at Ministry of Agriculture, Azat Sultanov said, ElDala informed.

“Afghanistan is a key destination for or flour and grains. We have suspended the supplies recently due to political reasons. Currently, the matter is settled and the supplies go smoothly”, - he said.

A. Sultanov added that there are no plans for negotiations of products export on the state level.

“Business partners of Kazakhstan and Afghanistan have stable relations. Currently, 199 thsd tonnes of flour and 33 thsd tonnes of grain have been exported”, - he specified.
