Russian grain crop will be enough to cover the domestic needs as well as the export potential, stated the Minister of Agriculture Dmitry Patrushev on October 12.
As he said, Russia had already harvested more than 111 mln tonnes of grain and about 5 mln tonnes more would be harvested.
“The weather complicates the progress of the field works. However, we expect that the grain production will fully cover the domestic needs as well as provide the export potential”, - the Minister pointed out.
The Ministry of Agriculture forecasts Russian grain and pulses production in 2021/22 MY at 127.4 mln tonnes, including about 81 mln tonnes of wheat.
