According to the Bureau of National Statistics of the Agency for Strategic Planning and Reforms of the Republic of Kazakhstan, as of October 1, the stocks of grains and pulses increased to 14.02 mln tonnes compared to 6.16 mln tonnes in the previous month.
In particular, by the beginning of September, the total stocks of Kazakh wheat were estimated at 11.33 mln tonnes, including 10.02 mln tonnes of milling wheat, 1.07 mln tonnes of wheat for seeds, 1.6 mln tonnes of feed wheat.
Also, as of October 1, the stocks of barley amounted to 1.67 mln tonnes, rye – 33.5 thsd tonnes, oats – 146.3 thsd tonnes, corn – 301.7 thsd tonnes, rice – 304.9 thsd tonnes, buckwheat – 36.4 thsd tonnes, millet – 22 thsd tonnes.
