As of October 20, Russian agrarians harvested grains and pulses throughout the areas of 43.4 mln ha. The production volumes reached 115.9 mln tonnes of grain, reported the press-service of the Ministry of Agriculture of Russia.
In particular, agrarians harvested 77.4 mln tonnes of wheat throughout 27.6 mln ha. Also, Russia harvested 18.6 mln tonnes of barley throughout 7.8 mln ha, 7.9 mln tonnes of corn for grain throughout 1.5 mln ha, 729.5 thsd tonnes of rice throughout 113.2 thsd ha.
Agrarians harvested 2.9 mln tonnes of rapeseed throughout 1.6 mln ha, 12.7 mln tonnes of sunflower seed throughout 7.9 mln ha and 3.8 mln tonnes of soybean throughout 2.2 mln ha.
Besides, farmers harvested 28 mln tonnes of sugar beet throughout 722.6 thsd ha.
Russian agrarians planted winter crops throughout 16.5 mln ha (out of 19.5 mln tonnes planned).
