In January-August 2021, Russia imported 733 thsd tonnes of palm oil and its fractions, up 10% compared to the same period of 2020, informed Rosstat.
At the same time, in the reporting period the country decreased the foreign purchases of fresh and frozen meat by 14.6% 150 thsd tonnes.
However, Russia increased import of butter by 4% to 77.2 thsd tonnes, poultry meat by 3.4% to 156 thsd tonnes.
