Russian seaports raised transshipments of soybean by-products by 1.6 times in October

According to APK-Inform data, Russia exported 346.4 thsd tonnes of oilseeds and by-products during October 1-31 via river and seaports, down 36.8% compared to the previous month (253 thsd tonnes, considering the data update).

Sunflower by-products export totaled 154 thsd tones, including 82.2 thsd tonnes of sunflower oil (up by 2.2 thsd tonnes), 71.9 thsd tonnes of sunflower meal (up by 2.1 times). Russian ports did not transshipped sunflower seed in October and September.

The export of soybean by-product totaled 163.8 thsd tones, including 69.8 thsd tonnes of soybean oil (up by 1.5 times), 94 thsd tonnes of soybean meal (up by 1.7 times). There were no port shipment of soybean in October and September.

The export of rapeseed by-products totaled 28.6 thsd tonnes (down by 25%), including 20 thsd tonnes of rapeseed oil (virtually unchanged) and 8.6 thsd tonnes of rapeseed meal (down by 2.2 times). There were no shipments of rapeseed in October and September.

The main export destinations of Russian oilseeds and by-product in October included Turkey (90 thsd tonnes), Norway (48 thsd tonnes) and Denmark (28.5 thsd tonnes).

In October, port of Kaliningrad was a leader in shipments of oilseeds and by-products (303.8 thsd tonnes). Port of Rostov-on-Don (143.4 thsd tonnes) took the second place and port of Taman (68.1 thsd tonnes) took the third position.
