Ukraine exported 1.35 mln tonnes of sunflower oil in September-November 2021/22 MY, down from 1.59 mln tonnes shipped abroad in the same period of the preceding season, official data says.
India has been the largest importer of Ukrainian sunflower oil so far. However, it cut the import of the product to 413 (466.7) thsd tonnes in the reporting period. Moreover, the shipments to China was halved from 503.5 thsd tonnes to 252.3 thsd tonnes.
At the same time, the EU increased import of Ukrainian sunflower oil from 320.7 thsd tonnes to 409.7 thsd tonnes.
