Agro-meteorological conditions are favorable for winter crops in Belarus, informed Belhydromet on Jan 5.
In recent days, warm spell resulted in destroy of the snow cover across most of the country. Thawing of soil began in southwestern regions.
The temperature of soil is higher than optimal and the hardening of winter crops is declining.
“The weather will remain stable in the short-term. We do not predict any low temperatures dangerous for winter crops”, – they said.
