Ukraine exported 592.8 thsd tonnes of soybean in September-December 2021/22 MY, down from 958.6 thsd tonnes shipped abroad in the same period of the preceding season, official data says.
Turkey remained the largest importer of Ukrainian soybean. However, it more than halved the import of the oilseed to 209.9 (415.4) thsd tonnes in the reporting period.
Belarus decreased import of Ukrainian soybean to 97.4 (189.4) thsd tonnes, Egypt – to 21.4 (83.1) thsd tonnes.
Supplies to the EU were virtually the same as the year ago at 207 (210.7) thsd tonnes.
