Indonesia allows Russian barley import

Indonesia allows Russian barley import, informed a press-service of Rosselkhoznadsor on January 20.

“In December 2021, Indonesian Agency for Agricultural Quarantine at the Ministry of Agriculture put at its official website the quarantine phytosanitary requirements for Russian barley”, – told in the message.

This decision was based on four-year long cooperation between Rosselkhoznadsor and a relevant Indonesian institution that resulted in the softening of initial requirements for Russian barley.

“Currently, only two Russian exporters have permission to supply barley to Indonesia. However, any interested companies can submit a request to Rosselkhoznadsor”, – the press-service added.
