Russian food export reached record high in November

In November, export of Russian food products reached record high and totaled 3.82 bln USD. The previous maximum was set in August 2021 and amounted to 3.44 bln USD, reported Russian Export Center on January 24.

The list of the key products of Russian food export included wheat (953 mln USD), crustaceans (540 mln USD), sunflower oil (430 mln USD), frozen fish (313 mln USD), rapeseed oil (120 mln USD), barley (113 mln USD), chocolate products (100 mln USD), flaxseed (97 mln USD), corn (95 mln USD).

Besides, pules export increased 2.2 times y/y, beef export was up 2.1 times y/y, sugar export up 59%, flaxseed export up 31%.

Turkey (512 mln USD), Egypt (306 mln US), China (291 mln USD), Kazakhstan and Netherlands (279 mln USD each), Iran (247 mln USD), South Korea (218 mln USD), Belarus (160 mln USD) and Japan (145 mln USD) were the leading destinations for Russian food in November.
