Some southern regions of Kazakhstan have already started the planting campaign.
Farmers have already planted 181.2 thsd ha with crops. In the key grain producing regions, the mas planting will start in May, informed the Ministry of Agriculture.
The overall planted area will reach 23.1 mln ha in Kazakhstan in 2022. The area under social as well as feed crops will be extended sizably to 3.6 mln ha.
