The Ministry of Agriculture of Kazakhstan introduces quotas on export of wheat and flour.

When the corresponding order enters into force, the exports of wheat and flour will be subject to quotas until June 15. Quota for wheat and meslin is set at 1 mln tonnes, for wheat and rye-wheat flout at 300 thsd tonnes.

A company can apply for quota for wheat export only after it sells 10% of a volume declared for export to the State Food Corporation at a fixed price.
