As of April 1, 2021, the stocks of grains in agricultural organizations of the Russian Federation totaled 16.3 mln tonnes, up by 694 thsd tonnes compared to the same date in 2021, declared the Federal State Statistics Service (Rosstat).
In particular, wheat stocks amounted to 9 mln tonnes, up by 544.7 thsd tonnes (+6% y/y), corn stocks – 2.3 mln tonnes, up by 161.9 thsd tonnes (+8%).
Sunflower seed stocks totaled 1.2 mln tonnes, up by 3 times y/y.
