National Oilseed Processors Association of Kazakhstan announces the first fat-and-oil conference "FOC 2022: Fats and Oils Conference" that will be held on June 24 in Almaty.

The venue of the event is InterContinental Almaty hotel.

The fat-and-oil industry is one of the dynamically developing industries in Kazakhstan, which has driven close attention in recent years. Growing production of oilseeds, the available capacities of processing enterprises and the tasks set by the president to increase the export of processed products prompted the National Oilseed Processors Association to organize the first conference that will gather leading experts and representatives of the fat-and-oil industry from various countries to discuss the market situation in current and new seasons.

Growing demand for fat-and-oil products as well as widening deficit of feedstock in 2022/23 MY arise many questions and prepositions.

To discuss the most burning issues about production, export and import, logistics and state regulations is the key aim of the event. Additionally, studying the experience of the global leaders and establishing new contacts will favor the further development of the fat-and-oil industry in the Central Asia region.

“Kazakhstan has a large potential for the development of fat-and-oil industry. We need to guide this potential properly”, – Yadykar Ibragimov, chairman of National Oilseed Processors Association, said.
