According to APK-Inform, the export prices of Russian sunflower oil resumed growing last week.
High internal logistics costs and some improvement of demand from several buyers supported the prices. the upward price trend on the world market of vegetable oils, higher crude oil prices and growing export duty on Russian sunflower oil supported the Russian market as well. Additionally, the number of offers was insufficient, as some exporters suspended their activity.
As of May 16, the offer prices of crude sunflower oil increased by 10-15 USD/t to 1940-2010 USD/t FOB (May-June). The bid prices grew by 10-20 USD/t to 1870-1920 USD/t FOB.
