Kazakhstan will supply 1 mln tonnes of grain to Iran, as to a memorandum signed by the agricultural ministers of both countries.
According to the document, the supplies will involve the grain of 2022 and 2023 harvests.
Additionally, the ministers signed a memorandum on cooperation in trade and transit of agricultural products. Under the agreement, Kazakhstan will supply wheat, barley, corn, flaxseed sunflower oil, confectionary, meat and meat products to Iran.
From its side, Iran will supply Kazakhstan with vegetables, fruit, dairy and aquatic products.
