According to APK-Inform, the prices of Ukrainian wheat for alternative export routes decreased slightly last week.

The prices were pressured by high stocks of wheat and the start of harvesting campaign along with weak export, despite all attempts to raise shipment volumes.

At the same time, the downward trend was limited by expensive logistics, tough global balance of wheat and corn, concerns about sharp decrease of grain supply amid Russian-Ukrainian war. Deterioration of wheat condition in the US and EU amid hot and dry weather s well as lowering of production prospects in Argentina and India supported the Ukrainian prices too.

The bid/offer prices of 12.5% wheat decreased by average 5 USD/t to 305-320/320-335 USD/t DAP Izov (June-July).

The bid/offer prices for delivery of wheat to the port of Constanta totaled 360-375/370-385 USD/t, down 5 USD/t w/w.
