Farmers of Odessa and Mykolaiv oblasts have started harvesting early grains and pulses. So far, they have already harvested crops throughout 42.2 thsd ha, the Ministry of Agrarian Policy of Ukraine informed on June 24.
The production volumes have reached 92.1 thsd tonnes of grain so far, including 90 thsd ha of winter barley harvested on 41.1 thsd ha with the average yield at 2.19 t/ha and 2 thsd tonnes of winter wheat harvested on 1.2 thsd ha with the average yield at 1.78 t/ha.
Last year, the harvesting campaign was not started yet on this date.
