First vessels arrived at Ukrainian ports to export agricultural products

Since a reopening of shipping via the Danube - Black Sea canal, 8 foreign vessels have arrived to Ukrainian ports to export agricultural products, the press service of the Navy of Ukraine reported.

“The Naval Forces of the Ukrainian Armed Forces joined the organization of transportation of agricultural products by civil vessels through the mouth of the Bystre River of the Danube. The first 8 foreign ships have already arrived at Ukrainian ports”, – the message said.

There was no information what ports the vessels arrived at.

It was also noted there that transportation through the canal became possible thanks to the liberation of Zmiiny Island from the Russian occupiers that allows controlling water and partially air situation in southern Ukraine.
