In Istanbul, a coordination center with the participation of representatives of Ukraine, Russia and the UN, which will monitor the work of the "grain corridor", has started working, РБК-Україна reported on July 23 citing the Turkish agency Hurriyet.

According to Turkish Defense Minister Hulusi Akar, the joint coordination center has already started working.

"Representatives of Russia and Ukraine, as well as a representative of the UN, have already started working with Turkey in a joint coordination center. The work started as soon as possible according to the agreement we reached, and now we hope that it will function as desired, as stated in the memorandum", – he said.

As a reminder, according to the agreements, the coordination center will control that the ships that go to the Black Sea ports for agricultural products do not deliver weapons to Ukraine.
