Currently, there are 68 ships in Ukrainian ports loaded with 1.2 mln tonnes of cargo. About two-thirds of the total volume is food that is waited for in world, Ukrainian Sea Port Administration reported on August 1.
As specified, 480 thsd tonnes of grains and vegetable oils are loaded into the ships staying in the waters of the ports of Pivdennyi, Odesa and Chornomorsk. About 1 mln tonnes of grain is stored at port terminals and warehouses.
"In the coming weeks, with the support of our partners, we plan to reach the full capacity of transshipment of agricultural products", – head of USPA Oleksiy Vostrikov said.
USPA collects applications from ship-owners to take part in caravans.
