From September 10, restrictions on the export of wheat and wheat flour will be lifted in Kazakhstan, the Ministry of Agriculture reported.

According to the Ministry of Agriculture, Kazakhstan will harvest more than 13 mln tonnes of wheat, which will exceed last year's result by 12%. About 6.5 mln tonnes of grain are needed to ensure annual domestic consumption in the country.

The restriction on the export of wheat and wheat flour was supposed to be effective from July 8 to September 30, 2022. The volume of the wheat export quota in the specified period was 550 thsd tonnes, flour – 370 thsd tonnes.
