Russia exported 3.7 mln tonnes of grain outside the EAEU in August, up 39% m/m, ProZerno said.

The export was 40% lower compared to August 2021.

Russia exported 3 mln tonnes of wheat, 0.6 mln tonnes of barley and 0.07 mln tonnes of corn in August.

“Trade pace is growing. But it is not enough to perform export potential of the current season”, – the analysts suppose.

ProZerno sees Russian grain export at 53.5 mln tonnes in 2022/23 MY, including 42 mln tonnes of wheat. In July-August, Russia shipped 6.4 mln tonnes of grain, including 5.3 mln tonnes of wheat.

Turkey (1.34 mln tonnes), Iran (1.26 mln tonnes) and Egypt (0.96 mln tonnes) were the key buyers the Russian grain.
