During September 1-28, state-owned rail company Ukrzaliznytsia transported 2.728 mln tonnes of grain for export, Rail.insider reports citing deputy director on commerce of the company Valery Tkachov.
According to Ukrzaliznytsia data, 808 thsd tonnes of grain were transferred through the western border crossings. Another 1.92 mln tonnes were transported to ports.
Transportation of grain for export may reach 3 mln tonnes by the end of September, V. Tkachov said.
