As of September 19, wheat crop amounted to 97 mln tonnes in Russia. More than 83% of the total volume if food wheat, Federal Centre of Quality and Safety Assurance for Grain reported.
Wheat with protein content exceeding 12.5% accounts for 58% of the total wheat crop.
Barley crop excluding malting grain totaled 15 mln tonnes. The share of 1-grade barley is 36% that is a record for the last 5 years.
Rye crop amounted to 2.2 mln tonnes. The share of 1-grade rye is 54%, which is higher than the last year.
Buckwheat harvest reached 438 thsd tonnes. The share of 1-grade buckwheat is 41%, which is higher than the last year. The share of 3-grade buckwheat increased to 49%.
