Ukraine is in a close contact with its partners for the "grain deal" – the UN and Turkey – and is counting on the prolongation of the grain corridor, First Deputy Minister of Agrarian Policy and Food of Ukraine Taras Vysotsky said on October 1.

He said that over 5.5 mln tonnes of agricultural products had been exported from Ukraine since the launch of the corridor. Goods were shipped to African countries (1/3 of total volume), the Middle East, Southeast Asia and other destinations. First of all, there is a great demand for wheat as well as for corn and sunflower oil.

T. Vysotsky emphasized that the percentage of value-added products exports is growing, in particular, products of livestock sector. Thus, according to him, "export of meat products and eggs was not bad before the war, while the shipments of dairy products has significantly increased, Ukraine is reaching record figures for the last two years, in September there will be even more".
