Russia is considering the possibility of canceling the export quota for grain, which traditionally is in force in the second half of the season, Viktoria Abramchenko Russian Deputy Prime Minister said on October 11.

“It is being worked on. The harvest is large, therefore, probably, there are no reasons for introducing any quantitative restrictions now”, – she said in response to a relevant question.

The Ministry of Agriculture of the Russia predicts a grain crop at 150 mln tonnes this year, including 100 mln tonnes of wheat. According to the ministry, such crop will allow Russia to export 50-60 mln tonnes of grain in 2022/23 MY.
