According to APK-Inform, the bid prices of corn were fluctuating at Ukrainian western borders last week.

The prices were pressured by the seasonal growth of supply on the domestic market and growing number of corn cargoes moving toward western borders amid smaller export by sea. However, stable demand from European importers offset the bearish factors or limited the decrease of the prices.

The purchasing prices of importers for delivery in November-December decreased slightly to 220-245 EUR/t DAP at Polish and Romanian borders. The prices increased to 230-250 EUR/t DAP at the borders with Hungary and Slovakia, 280-300 EUR/t DAP in the cities of Hungary and Bulgaria, 270-285 EUR/t CIF in the port of Constanta.
