Ukraine actively working to extend "grain agreement" – Zelenskyy

Ukraine together with its international partners is actively working to extend the "grain agreement", President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy stated on November 8.

He noted that Ukraine seeks to add a "permanent humanitarian component to grain exports" and "increase assistance to those countries and peoples who are suffering from the food crisis."

"The first meetings have already taken place, we have the first international agreements. In fact, together with our partners, we are starting the cooperation, which can become the basis for guaranteeing the food security at a new level. It has long been said that global coordination is needed to save the world's poorest countries from starvation. And we are currently developing such coordination mechanism. I hope it will be implemented", – V. Zelenskyy said.
