Russian grain will be processed into flour in Turkey and then sent to poor countries, Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan announced on November 7, CNNTurk reports.
According to him, this agreement with the President of the Russian Federation was reached in early November.
“If this wheat comes to us, turns into flour and is shipped, this will greatly facilitate the life of countries that need it”, – R. Erdogan said.
Among the recipients of Russian grain by-products, he named, in particular, such countries as Mali, Djibouti, Sudan and Somalia.
