Currently, there are no problems with grain storage in Ukraine, the Deputy Minister of Agrarian Policy and Food of Ukraine Markiyan Dmytrasevich said on November 21.

"Despite the damage to the elevators and infrastructure of the agricultural sector, thanks to the support of the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO) and international donors, Ukrainian farmers were provided with facilities for temporary storage of grain", – M. Dmytrasevich said.

He also noted that new challenges encourage prompt response and reformatting of the domestic agricultural sector, in particular the development of processing industries.

"One of the possible options for the processing of grain and residues is biogas, the production of biomethane. The development of processing will benefit Ukraine's energy security. We are working on it now. Ukraine's recovery plan for the near future also includes stimulating of processing and attracting investments", – M. Dmytrasevich emphasized.
