4 ships left Ukrainian ports on November 23

On November 23, 4 ships carrying sunflower seed, barley and wheat left Ukrainian ports, Interfax-Україна reports with reference to the Joint Coordination Center (JCC).

The ships are transporting a total of 126.311 thsd tonnes of grain and other food under the Black Sea Grain Initiative.

The vessels Vasiliy Bozhenko (1.5 thsd tonnes of sunflower seed) and Puffin S (18.1 thsd tonnes of wheat) are heading to Turkey.

Bulker Evengelistria will deliver 40.711 thsd tonnes of sunflower seed to France, bulker Kydonia is heading to Spain with 66 thsd tons of barley.

In addition, a ship that passed through the maritime humanitarian corridor under the "grain initiative" on November 23 is heading to the Ukrainian port with cargo.

JCC notes that 82 bulkers capable of exporting about 1.9 mln tonnes of food are awaiting permission to enter Ukrainian ports, and 30 loaded bulkers are preparing for inspection in Turkish territorial waters to proceed to their destinations.

"As of November 23, the total tonnage of grain and other agricultural products exported from three Ukrainian ports amounted to 11.853 thsd tonnes. A total of 970 ships were allowed to move: 479 for arrival at Ukrainian ports and 491 for departure from them", – the JCC informed .
