Thanks to coordinated activities of Ukrainian farmers, traders, international partners and the work of the "grain corridor", Ukraine managed to export more than 50 mln tonnes of grains, oilseeds and their by-products in 2022, the First Deputy Minister of Agrarian Policy and Food of Ukraine Taras Vysotsky stated.

According to him, this is a "very good result", taking into account the fact that the war in Ukraine lasted almost the whole year.

T. Vysotsky emphasized that, in the last 4 months, the average monthly export of Ukrainian agricultural products had actually reached pre-war volumes.

"Ukraine remains one of the main players on the international agricultural market, and the production and export prospects in Ukraine clearly affect international prices. Currently, they remain high, including due to the continuation of the war, so the prospects for prices reduction are still imperceptible", – the First Deputy Minister said.
