Russia does not plan to reduce grain export quota

The export of Russian grain is planned at 55-60 mln tonnes in 2022/23 MY, while there are no plans to reduce the export quota, reports Interfax with reference to the press service of the Ministry of Agriculture of the Russian Federation.

"The size of the quota was determined taking into account the export plan at the level of 55-60 mln tonnes. This volume will allow to start the next season with comfortable carry-overs. A decrease in the volume of the export quota is not planned", – the ministry said.

The grain export quota will be valid from February 15 to June 30, 2023. Its volume is 22.5 mln tonnes.
