Over 100 thsd tonnes of Ukrainian grain have already been shipped under Grain from Ukraine humanitarian initiative, Minister of Agrarian Policy and Food of Ukraine Mykola Solsky stated on February 2, Ukrinform reports.
"Within Grain from Ukraine, 4 vessels with a total cargo of 110 thsd tonnes of grain have already left Ukrainian ports", – the minister said.
He specified that the grain would be delivered to Ethiopia and Somalia.
M. Solsky also added that a ship is currently heading to Ukraine, which will be loaded with grain for Kenya. Moreover, grain deliveries to Yemen, Sudan and other countries are planned under the initiative.
