According to APK-Inform, in 5 months of 2022/23 MY Ukraine exported 13.8 mln tonnes of corn (-23% year-on-year), including 11 mln tonnes transported via the “grain corridor”.
The main importers of Ukrainian corn in the period from October to February of the current season were China, (23% of the total export), Romania (15%), and Spain (10%).
According to the operational data of the Ministry of Agrarian Policy and Food of Ukraine, from March 1 to 24, 2023 Ukraine exported almost 2.9 mln tonnes of corn, thus the export of grain from October 1, 2022, to March 24, 2023, accounted to 72% of the export potential of the crop forecasted by analysts of APK-Inform Agency – 23 mln tonnes forecasted in March.
