Romania and Poland will turn to the European Commission with a proposal to take measures to track the export of grain from Ukraine and fight against its sale at prices lower than market prices. This was stated by Nicolae Chuke, the Prime Minister of Romania, during a joint press conference with his Polish counterpart, Mateusz Morawiecki, on March 28, reports Interfax-Ukraine with reference to Bloomberg.

"Romania and Poland will ask the European Commission, the executive body of the EU, to develop mechanisms that will help establish supervision over the export of grain from Ukraine and avoid dumping prices that would harm local farmers," said N. Chuka.

At the same time, Bloomberg notes that in 2022, both countries contributed to the export of grain from Ukraine.
