On March 30, 6 vessels with Ukrainian food products left the ports of Great Odesa, the Ministry of Infrastructure of Ukraine reported.
"The bulk carrier SERENITY IBTIHAJ has 27 thsd tonnes of wheat for Egypt. A total of 44 ships have exported 1 mln tonnes of Ukrainian agricultural products to this country since the beginning of the "grain initiative", the message states.
The ministry noted that since Egypt is currently experiencing a financial crisis, the country depends on the systematic supply of grain and its stable price.
"In particular, at the last tender, Egypt booked a batch of Ukrainian wheat in the amount of 120 thsd tonnes It will be shipped next month," the message specifies.
It is also noted that as of the evening of March 30, 89 vessels are awaiting inspection in the territorial waters of Turkey. In total, starting from August 1, 857 ships exported 26.2 mln tonnes of Ukrainian food products to Asia, Europe, and Africa through the "grain corridor" from the ports of Great Odesa.
