According to the State Customs Service, in 2023/24 MY, as of August 25 Ukraine exported 4.032 mln tonnes of grains and pulses, including 1.758 mln tonnes in August, reported the press service of the Ministry of Agrarian Policy of Ukraine.
As of August 25, 2022, total grains export from Ukraine reached 3.327 mln tonnes, including 1.626 mln tonnes in August.
In particular, in the current season, Ukraine shipped as follows:
- wheat – 1.694 mln tonnes (896 thsd tonnes in 2022/23);
- barley – 459 thsd tonnes (272 thsd tonnes);
- rye – 0.6 thsd tonnes (0.4 thsd tonnes);
- corn – 1.871 mln tonnes (2.142 mln tonnes).
