Recently, the Ukrainian company "TAS Agro" made the first shipment of 1,500 tonnes of rapeseed oil to China.
According to the company's press service, TAS Agro has been processing oilseeds (rapeseed, sunflower seed, soybean) on a supply basis at partner plants for the second year in a row.
"Wartime realities force farmers to change, to be flexible, to look for new strategic solutions. The TAS Agro company made the right decision – to go into rapeseed processing, because it is more profitable to sell oil than raw materials. For our agricultural holding, the last season was the first experience of processing, at the same time, the financial results are positive", said Anton Zhemerdeev, Deputy General Director for Commercial Affairs.
