According to the State Customs Service, in 2023/24 MY, as of September 22, Ukraine exported 6.038 mln tonnes of grains and pulses, including 1.451 mln tonnes in September, reported the press service of the Ministry of Agrarian Policy.
Last year, as of September 23, grains exports amounted to 7.235 mln tonnes, including 2.935 mln tonnes in September.
In particular, in the current season, Ukraine shipped:
- wheat – 2.916 mln tonnes (891 thsd tonnes in September);
- barley – 596 thsd tonnes (98 thsd tonnes);
- rye – 0,6 thsd tonnes (0);
- corn – 2,506 mln tonnes (452 thsd tonnes).
The total export of Ukrainian flour, as of September 22, amounted to 33 thsd tonnes (8.5 thsd tonnes in September), including 32.1 thsd tonnes of wheat flour (8.4 thsd tonnes).
