Italian BFI and the Kazakh Agrofirm TNK signed a Memorandum of cooperation in crop production and processing




BF International Best Fields Best Food Limited ("BFI"), a subsidiary of the large Italian agricultural holding B.F. S.p.A., signed a Memorandum of cooperation with Kazakh Agrofirma TNK LLP ("Agrofirma TNK"). This was reported to APK-Inform by the company's press service.

“Agrofirma TNK, with about 400,000 ha of land in the Akmola Region, and BFI have therefore started the partnership with the aim of developing the agri-food sector in Kazakhstan by using the mutual experience and, in particular, the know-how of BF Group in the field of cultivation and planting process management, also with the use of precision farming techniques, and to manage the whole production chain, from the planting to the transformation and sale so as to also favour the distribution of Kazakhstan's agricultural products in the international market” - stated the company. 

The memorandum was signed by the CEO Federico Vecchioni, and the Deputy of the General Director Batyrbeck Ualiyev of Agrofirma TNK LLP, in the presence of the Minister of Agriculture of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Aidarbek Seipellovich Saparov.

As APK-Inform previously reported, at a meeting with the management of the Italian agricultural holding, President of Kazakhstan Kassym-Jomart Tokayev expressed his readiness to provide full support in the implementation of investment projects in Kazakhstan.
